How to wash and dry at Slick’s
Your first visit, one step at a time. Get familiar with the space, then follow the instructions on your chosen machine.
01Load & wash
A little preparation makes a better wash.
- Check care labels, empty pockets and separate colours and fabrics.
- Choose a washer with enough space for your load to move.
- Add suitable front-loader detergent to the labelled dispenser, using the recommended dose.
- Close the door, select a suitable cycle, then follow the machine’s payment and start prompts.
Check the displayed price before you start. Wait for the cycle to finish and the door to unlock.
02Dry with care
Give your fabrics the finish they need.
- Check that each item is suitable for tumble drying.
- Transfer your load to a dryer, leaving room for warm air to circulate.
- Choose heat and time to suit the care labels. Follow the dryer’s payment and start prompts.
- Wait for the cycle to finish before removing your laundry.
Never tumble dry items contaminated with oil, fuel or solvents. Follow every warning displayed on the dryer.
03Fold & finish
The final little step before you head home.
- Check that your items are dry. Follow the machine prompts if you need more time.
- Empty the drum and check for small items.
- Use the folding table to fold and pack your laundry.
- Leave the table and machines tidy for the next person.
Take a last look for socks, detergent and belongings. All set for a fresh start.
